I went down a rabbit hole of your videos and made $100 in amazon purchases thanks to you! (I used your links). I really loved this tip in particular and got 30 tags and started googling other ways to use them, too. I also ended up getting the Flip, which I scanned by REALLY quickly when I was first looking at notebooks, but your video swayed me. Great job.

I’m glad my videos could help Darrell! I hope you enjoy the system and find some cool ways to use the tags too! ✌️

Thank you for positng this. It is a simple, yet effective idea. I've just gotten myself a box of 30 tags for US$5 from Aliexpress.

Wow this is so cool! I can imagine so many applications for this.

Great explainer video Jake! Clear and to the point while explaining other options. For iPhones, do you know how to make the shortcut open directly into "New Scan" instead of the default "History" when opening the Rocketbook app?
@JakeReevesVideo2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get that level of integration - that was my hope as well, but all you can do is open the app as far as I could tell…

Yes there is a url for it, but KZbin blocks the link. It’s the get Rocketbook website, then link, then scan. Then is slashes.

I've been considering a rocketbook purchase and wondered on how I could expedite the process with nfc so this is spot on, thanks! I just wish Rocketbook exported to Notion and/or lists in Trello because that would be ideal for me.
@JakeReevesVideo2 жыл бұрын
I believe that Notion is under consideration. You can Google Rocketbook’s suggestions page to put your vote behind it 👍

@@JakeReevesVideo I didn't know they'd take on ideas with votes so that's a big positive :) Also thanks for the great channel & responding, I'm a bit too obsessive with productivity & you have some great videos that cut through the palava.

Thanks, I’m glad you like my content 👍 One of the great things about Rocketbook is how much they engage with and listen to their community - they have that whole site setup specifically to capture customer design/improvement ideas 👍

Did you ever figure this one out? That would game-change for me! I also have trouble deleting files because I’m afraid I’ll need info but I can’t go back to inquire because my handwriting doesn’t get converted to text I can search.

Appreciate the comprehensive and clear explanation. I found the iOS options to be a little better than I expected, but I had no idea how to get started.

do you have an NTC Tag that could hold the information so that others could scan and gain access to the information?? love this idea though! :D
@JakeReevesVideo3 жыл бұрын
That's the general idea of how they work. Within the NFC Tools App, you can also just write general "data" that can be read by others. I would recommend you download the App and check it out. Android has a lot more freedom, but iOS restricts you to reading website links mostly, which is unfortunate... but hopefully that changes 🤞

Can you still edit the note after upload it to the cloud, and erased the "writing"? Thanks
@JakeReevesVideo Жыл бұрын
No, once the document is sent to the cloud, it is a just a PDF. So depending on your PDF viewer, you may be able to add more notes, but the handwriting is just an image, so it’s flattened into the background.

Do you know of any resources for turning rocketbook notes into data (excel or similar) or multiple tags? Ex. I want to take notes on every car and their specs - then be able to search for 'convertible' AND 'ford'.

I've been trying to optimize the same thing.

I believe that some of the new pages for the Axis are going to include a hash tag section. But you could also just do it yourself by titling the documents or even using those words in the note, then enabling smart search. That way it will digitize all the text and you can search for both keywords I think.

I have been using my rocketbook planner for a year now...does anyone have any tips for how to sync your appointments to your phone? It's difficult to remember to update daily and I've found I'm very sentimental and have difficulty erasing and starting new pages.

Hmm, tried this but it is not working, the phone knows its an empty tag but nfc tools wont put Rocketbook on it. It costs me about 9 euro and as long you cannot explain what the reason is that it doesnt work i dont try it further.
