Do we even have to say it? Another stellar video 🚀 Plus perfect timing, since the Mini's birthday is coming up!

You can scribble two different ways in the mini. On odd pages ( opened from front) you scribble notes of type A. On even pages ( opened from back) you scribble notes of type B. So when you want to read A type notes open it from front, and for B type note open it from back. It is a quick way to divide two different categories of notes in one notepad, yhe mini is especially well suited for this.

Nice suggestion 👍 Similar to how they've structure the page formats for the new Flip Notebooks
@armwrestling_nerd4 жыл бұрын
@@JakeReevesVideo Yeah, when writing shorthand, flips are a nice way to go together with the "flip from front/back" idea. If you shorthand a dialog "from front" , you then afterwards shorthand reflections "from back"

@@JakeReevesVideo Landscape writing is a great tip for the Mini! Also, depending on your writing style, it can be handy to write on the Mini upside down so the binding doesn't interfere with your writing.

Thanks for the video man, still current today in 2024 as it was 4 years ago! Side Note: The pens are important also. I would love a marker style finish, the steel tip ones I use now are fine, but there have been some orders of pens, that are horrible ie. dry out, ink is tooooo light etc -

I'm new to rocketbook and wanted to try the least expensive first. I used it to write notes as I interviewed patients then used the transcription to paste into the EMR. I think this could be a life saver for me! I like writing my thoughts to help processing and this way i don't have to also type them in. I filled all the pages but on one side only in one day.

A thorough review that showcases multiple less-is-more uses. I am crossed between buying this and a whiteboard stand for my desk. Has anyone used a Rocketbook more than a whiteboard? Vice versa? Do you use both?
@JakeReevesVideo2 жыл бұрын
Personally, I use both (Rocketbook beacons can help you digitize your whiteboard too)… my Rocketbook is usually for more detailed drawings that I need to document for myself (along with other notebook things) and my whiteboard is usually for working in teams or when I’m working out an incomplete concept 👍

im still exploring procedures but some things i do is to use the first page as a shopping list and subsequent pages as task pages - i will write the date and the task for that day for about one week - the rest of the pages are for unplanned for information gathering - i archive what is valuable and erase the book at end of the week

I use mine for a fast catch unknown words, I’m learning Japanese so, when I hear a word in any video I watch I just write out down , so later I find the phrase or word I didn’t understand. And it helps me for my vocabulary also words from the text book that I don’t know I write it on the mini RB too. :) and i use it in both ways portrait or landscape. 😄

I'm so happy to have discovered Rocketbook and now your video series! 😊 I don't have the notebook size yet because I couldn't work out how I would file these, especially if I use them as sticky notes (I wouldn't use text recognition as I'd like to see them as I saved them). Which integration and filing method would you suggest?

Thanks for your informative videos! I’m new to Rocketbook and got the letter size recently. It’s been a game changer! Can you use the letter size in landscape? I wish they offered the letter size with the coils along the top like a legal pad. This would be a wonderful option for future design considerations.
@JakeReevesVideo4 жыл бұрын
You certainly could use the Letter size notebooks in landscape. When you scan, you have the option of rotating the page if you click to review it. You could check out the Rocketbook Orbit, it is like a legal pad, with a top binding.

I’m curious… why do you keep the same types of things in multiply notebooks? Your habit trackers, to do lists and so on? I’m not judging, I’m just starting with a rocketbook and trying to learn how to use it in the best way.
@JakeReevesVideo3 жыл бұрын
I don't generally. My goal with this video was to demonstrate a few different ways that I would consider using the mini-Flip. So, I adapted my bullet journal template to the smaller form factor, etc. Generally, I keep that stuff in my executive sized Rocketbook, but I know some people prefer the smaller form factor, so I wan't to show how I would use it - but I normally stick to 1-2 Rocketbooks in use at a time. Thanks for asking 👍

Hold it. Can I write the title line (i.e. the line surrounded by double hash tags) ANYWHERE I LIKE on the page? On the top? On the bottom? What about somewhere right in the middle? Would that work, as well? Thanks.
@JakeReevesVideo Жыл бұрын
As long as it is nested between the hashtags, I think you can put it anywhere on the page - just make sure you only do one title. I’m not sure what would happen if you have multiple competing.

I’m contemplating buying it I am a nursing student and could help for clinicals and have it on my scrub pocket has it ever erased or ink smeared? What is that slim pen you have showing throughout the video?
@JakeReevesVideo4 жыл бұрын
The Silver pen is the FriXion LX - it should be linked in the description. You should check out my Everything Rocketbook playlist for more details, but yes, the notebooks can be prone to smudging. It takes about 10-15s for the ink to dry - longer if it has pooled as a bullet point, etc.
