Well, it depends on the sentiment of the market. Tight trading range day about 80% of strong elephant bars will fail! You have to do just the opposite. Sell into strong green bars and buy into strong red bars and scale in. Everything is about context Oliver!

Yes so true elephant bars are old news. Haven’t been working this new year. I went long today on huge elephant candle half 1/3 way up then it fell completely and I pulled stop down to bottom of open range and it kept going. Lost 4 pts after being up 8. I really try to wait for that failure to enter but today I got anxious then felt dumb entering short after the engulfing red candle.
