Just today I was given one of these printers. At first I thought it was a printer to print sheets of paper and when I got home we opened it and I got a big surprise. We will have a lot of fun at home with the kids. Thanks for the video, it will help us a lot to learn! 😁

Why can’t you just print an attachment to hold another spool and buy one of the tubes to make your own AMS?

In theory, you can. The problem comes when the printer needs to change filaments. When you're using only one filament and you wanna change it, you need to manually remove the old one and feed the new. AMS does this by itself, pulls and pushes filaments when they are needed.
