I too survived a brain aneurysm on June 29, 2017. They gave me a 3% chance of living. My sister told me my brain was full of blood. My brothers and sisters in Christ prayed over me. I was in a coma for a week, then I started to come completely conscious. It took a while. I stayed in hospital another week or two for therapy. I got wheeled to the front of hospital when I was discharged and got up and walked to my sister’s car. My biggest deficits are a lack of balance and short term memory which is a bit severe. But I am 72 now so I think age has also added on. They found another small aneurysm and several infarcts in my brain but I am still going strong. I will pray for you Makenna. Be encouraged, God is not done yet. You are a miracle and so am I. He still does miracles today. Be blessed.

Don't let doctors tell you when to let go. You will know it. They told us to stop care on my mother, giving us this story about how she was suffering. In a few days she was eating and speaking. Hospitals do not want patients to die in the hospital they want them to die in hospice because that death goes against the hospital. Always remember there is something in it for the other guy when they're trying to force you to do something. My mother was not going to live a long time but she didn't have several weeks more that she could communicate and we could be with her and I would not give up this week for anything thank God we were tough enough to wait until WE knew that it was time.

Doctor yelled at me insisted he was God to name the baby, I rose my hand and told him you’re not my God I’ll show you what my God will do. 6 hours later 3 nurses were at my bed preparing me to go see the miracle, unknown what they were talking about. My baby started crying in the morgue when they rushed her to emergency where I met her. Second I placed my hand at her hand she grasped my hand and stopped crying. All the first responders asked me what God I believe in, I made the sign of the cross and said I am Greek Orthodox, my God is my Heavenly Father! That doctor came in and I fired him, then a pediatrician came and hired her. I5 was the longest road ahead but I am so Blessed in the Mighty Name of Jesus and God the Father is always in my home!

Wow. I was baptized Christian when I was a kid, but turned away from the faith in my mid 20s. I had trouble adjusting to normal life after leaving the military. Hearing this father's story about his daughter nearly brought tears to my eyes. I had to fight to hold it back. I believe a miracle helped save Makenna. I wish I could hug Makenna and her father.

My friend had one of those brain aneurysms. They gave her an 8% chance and spent months in the hospital. Her husband, family and friends played her favorite music, would read to her and we all prayed for her. This happened years ago and she is doing so much better! God is the Great Healer!

This happened to me last March. I fainted through dehydration from Norovirus, cracked my skull on a concrete floor and suffered a brain bleed. I was put into an induced coma for one week and in a brain trauma unit for six weeks. I recovered pretty well, but have sequencing and attention memory problems and lost my sense of smell due to olfactory nerve damage.

My Mother was 7 months pregnant with my older brother, when she suffered a massive brain anerurysm (stroke) She was in a coma for 2 weeks, and in the hospital for 2 months and 9 days. She was completely paralyzed on her left side. She spent her 21st birthday in the hospital. They did not have physical therapy back then. They wanted to brain surgery, but back then, my mother felt it may kill her. My father constantly prayed for her and my brother, along with many others. My Mother made a full recovery. It took years to build up her strength. She had to learn to walk all over again, by holding onto a wooden chair and pushing it. My Mother was considered a miracle, and she took a chance to have me, 5 years later. My Mother lived 52 more years, until she got brain cancer and died. I fell so blessed to have the parents I was given. I do believe in miracles. They did not think my Mother would make it, either, and she did to live a good life for 52 more years.

I looked at the doctor's and said I rebuke that in the name of Jesus. Do not ever speak doubt and unbelief over me. Last time I had 2 aneurysms rupurted and a massive stroke. But I walked out of the hospital 8 days later. 5 months later I was told I had cancer.I said that is a lie straight from the pits of hell and I will live and not die. This is the only thing that scared me and it was hard to keep my faith but I'm cancer free and still thank God for saving me.

14 years ago our son who was 6 at the time received a traumatic brain injury from falling out of a tree. He fell 8-10 feet onto pavement. He sustained a 6” skull fracture along with bleeding, bruising and swelling on her brain. He was in a medical induced coma for 13 days. The drs said they couldn’t tell us how the brain damage would affect him until he woke up and showed us. He’s now 20 years old and has made a full recovery.
