@mattsynth driving the WB (clock in) with a keyboard gate and multing the pitch CV from the keyboard into the WB Heart In with the Chaos Balance set to 50% or less would yield a very interesting stepped/smooth output CV. Using that CV for filter cutoff, FM index, vibrato rate, etc, would likely yield very "musical" results - and would still be driven primarily by your keyboard or whatever kind of controller that you're using.

Hi Guys, Thanks for the kind words! Other demos are definitely on the books and hopefully without such a long down time between them. Also, a general point as well as response to mattsynth, please do not judge the musicality of these modules on my demos. I'm only trying to give a technical demo on the functions, not demonstrate how they might be used by someone in "musical" context.

Wow, ten years ago already. Finally got my V1 Wogglebug today, it got stuck in the mail and the mailman was behaving erratic. Not sure. Uncertain this is. What day is it?

Cigler - I have owned this darn graphically challenged module for a year and this 10 minute video did more to show me what the heck it can do than hours of diddling with it.. A million thanks - How about a similar video on the Malekko Noisering and Envelator. Dig it - You are a friggin' masters course in Modular synthesis... Thank you sensei- want to come over and elp me figger out my 200e?

Finally a great demo of the Wogglebug. This module does not seem to do anything but make weird noises (not musically useful sounds). This is a typical MakeNoise module that "makes noises" as it states in there name. It does well what it was designed to do I just feel it is not very useful for writting music. Thanks for the demo, it was a good one.

@mattsynth actually yes its random, but i use this quite a bit with quantizers, mainly the flame tame machine... when you merge the cv to scales then its extremely musical (in fact, nothing but "music" essentially)

Brilliant! Great demo of a really cool module!

Excellent demo. Truth be told, these kind of sounds I prefer to make live using pitchbenders and what not. Still, nice module and kudos for explaining a rather tricky panel.

I like those cables, what a good idea for modular patching

Nice, this kind of videos help to understand complex stuff like the Woggle better! I guess running the Wogglebug through a quantizer and controlling oscs could some musical results?

Hi James, I appreciate your demos greatly and do understand you are showing only the technical aspect of the module. Does any one out there have a musical demo of the WoggleBug in action because all the demos I can find is it just making random noise.

What oscillator did you have the wogglebug going to? Was it a sine or triangle wave?
