A Demo of Make Noise STO and Optomix in a simple rhytmic patch.
STO is a compact Voltage Controlled Oscillator designed for generating SINE waves, Variable wave-SHAPEs, SUB-Octaves, Oscillator SYNC and Linear FM in the analog domain.
OPTOMIX is a two channel Low Pass Gate, providing simultaneous voltage control over amplitude and frequency content of a signal. It is in essence, a Voltage Controlled Filter Amplifier (VCFA) that has an extremely organic response to control signals.

Andy Morello
Born in 1973, he has always been a musician and is currently involved in electronic music, productions and remixes. Using new technologies, associated with typically analogue ones, his research as a producer is aimed at finding the link between improvisation and programming. His sound is a journey through rarefaction, deconstruction, granularization, dub, techno and experimentation.
He arrives at modular synthesis in 2017, after a long musical journey based on ska, reggae, dub, electronic productions and live performances, both solo and with other musicians, through which he has been able to perform on numerous stages from 1997 to today.
In 2018 he gave life to the community of Milano Modulare, collecting numerous adhesions from all over Italy and gathering the support of many artists and performers. For Milano Modulare, in 2019, he collaborated as artistic coordinator in the realization of the first modular day in Milan "Connessioni a modular journey" realized in partnership with Machine Jockey and LePark.
In 2020 he opens the Voltage Creative Studio, a recording studio dedicated to musicians, vocalists and producers, which aims to become a reference point both for the Milanese modular community and for “modular based” productions and sound design.
Between 2020 and 2021 he publishes a solo work and a second work for 51Beats Label in collaboration with the Marche producer Duscio.
In 2021 he participated in several festivals including Phoenix Synthesizer Festival (online), PerAspera Festival in Bologna and at the Connessioni mini festival in Milan.
For 51beats he publishes a song on the Modular Cuisine EP (digital and vinyl) collaborating in the realization of the live presentation event.
In 2022 he joins 51Beats, starts the collaboration with Radio 20158 creating Electrica Salsa, a podcast dedicated to electronic music, publishes a remix published in the Tragedy After Party album by Perciante Rocco and another song in the release "Leaftape True Peaks" by Pitch the Noise Records.
