Hello Austin, your tutorials are always spot on and interactive. Please can you share the complete processing on the lead vocal? They sound really crispy and smooth.

Hey austen, I learn so much from this channel. Thanks to you. Can u do a tutorial on leveling and gain staging tracks?
@MakePopMusic3 жыл бұрын
I don’t worry too much about gain staging when I’m working all in the box. Just make sure your level hitting a plugin is allowing the plugin to do what you want (for example, hit a compressor at the right level to give you the vibe you want)
@MakePopMusic Жыл бұрын
either or neither or both. Just depends on what you need the EQ and reverb to do @@ACES-BRAZIL

Hello Austin. Is jbl cshm10 dynamic mic good. Very cheap mic . But what do u think of its quality
@Huntermusic173 жыл бұрын
Do you dedicate each reverb to one type of instrument or for example do your short sounds share the same short reverb etc. Another example would you ever share your drum room with other instruments or would you add a separate Reverb send even if it was the same reverb settings?

How to make a cover song please make a video on that too Austin
@Quant-Beat2 жыл бұрын
Hello Austin, just a question. Vocals are known for 2-3 reverbs. What other stuff would you use more than one reverb on? I am against short reverbs other than bass and vocals. Snare has two, one mid and one throw longer. But never two at the same time, except vocals...
@beatweezl3 жыл бұрын
19:00 Don't you have the ability to put the reverb directly on the clip itself? You can cut out the phrase you want to accentuate with the wet reverb and put it right on the clip, no? I do'nt know if Cubase has that ability but Reaper and Studio One do.
@MakePopMusic3 жыл бұрын
You can, but it can get messy and it’s so much easier for me to do on its own track. Plus, then I can process the reverb throw uniquely if I want 😁
@Mineiro4263 жыл бұрын
@@MakePopMusic At 19:44 you say "you can literally hear it start to phase out because it's the same exact thing duplicated". I don't understand that. Since they are the same exact material duplicated why does it start to phase out? Shouldn't it be louder instead?
@heartshinemusic3 жыл бұрын
I believe Chris Lord Alge uses 150 ms pre delay on his main vocal reverb... for in your face (rock) vocals that sound close but also smooth in the mix.
@MakePopMusic3 жыл бұрын
That's almost like a slapback delay. Could be great for the track! I normally find that too separated for my taste but every track is different :D
