Mike, John is indeed a very talented turner. Unfotunately, he has not done as much in the video arena lately due to his other obligations. I like this format and am looking forward to more! Billy

Thanks Billy - I've been missing John's content as well, he was always an inspiration for me to get in my shop and try new things, but as we gain subscribers and get more known in the community - as John has - the focus needs to be where we're needed the most. I'm hoping once he gets used to the new lifestyle of being "known" we'll get some more regular content.

Your right is very talented... I watched and used some of his techniques. I want to get into Air Brushing....

Thanks James. I haven't touched on airbrushing yet myself but something I'm interested in trying out for sure.

I like this type of video as it gives suggestions for new people to look at that may not be found due to the number of people who have channels. The vast majority of the people I follow are through finding them from recommendations like this. Keep them coming please and I will look at John's channel. Cheers, Huw

Thanks Huw. I have more of them that I'll be uploading over the next few days that are older episodes of this but new ones are coming soon!

Mike I really did like this little clip that you made here... You might want to change it to Monday Maker's... I don't think you should use the other. I truly think you can do this little by little and help your channel grow. John Clothier is definitely one of a kind! But there are so many brilliant people out there it blows me away!

Thanks Tracy! I appreciate the comment - I'm not sure why, but if you could explain I'd be more than happy to look at changing the name...?
@mamabearssheshedtracykeato69415 жыл бұрын
Gil Polanski is his name. That's why there's already a hashtag in front of the name. He's the one that does Makers Monday. He's been doing it for quite some time also. So Monday makers is probably the way to go.

@@mamabearssheshedtracykeato6941 Thank you for the suggestion Tracy. I'm going to be sticking with the #makerMonday though. I realize, and knew that Gil had been doing something similar - these videos on my channel had actually started prior to Gil doing his first Makers Monday video. If you search KZbin the first iteration of the #makerMonday hashtag was actually on a channel that was started over 2 years ago which now appears to be abandoned. I don't feel that I am violating or stepping on Gil's toes in any way as the hashtag isn't a branded hashtag similar to #tbt, #ootd, or similar such hashtags that are widely used - #makerMonday appears on over 30,000 posts on Instagram.

I had uploaded this before but in my channel cleanup where I was removing my old Vlog videos I accidentally removed all of my #makerMonday videos - I'll be uploading them again throughout the day today. What do you all think of these types of videos?
@mamabearssheshedtracykeato69415 жыл бұрын
These types of videos are awesome! It brings more attention to other makers to gain inspiration from what they do.
