good work! But I would recommend soldering the bare leads of cable 120v, because without solder the thin leads could fray going into terminal blocks and cause a dangerous problem with high voltage / wattage.

does it matter what wire you are using to run into the relay or does it have to be a ground or positive

The brown (live) wire should be treated as the black (negative), so it goes into the COM. Common is usually referring to return. The blue (neutral) wire should be treated as the red (positive), so it goes into the NO.

Looks like it is just a low power led lamp, just look for 1 to 3 W bulbs.

You can use any of them since relay has no polarity. So negative-positive is not a matter...

GREAT VIDEO BUT PLEASE CLEARIFY: : Your plug is US 110v style but your wires are international standards. Brow is Positive correct?? In the Video your Relay to Arduino pins don't seem to match. In the Video your Relay to Arduino wire colors do not match.
