Prada and Byredo. My birthday is coming up and I'm getting one of the Prada quads and the soft matte lipsticks. I've just heard such good things about them and I really like how they've handled their launch, not releasing a ton of stuff and seeing what sticks but having it be such a curated selection and thoughtful color stories that seem very "Prada". Byredo, if I like the color story of their next palette I want to get it, I've been lusting over that minerals palette you have. Tom Ford I like the quads, but am so sad they discontinued the cream eyeshadows. They were amazing. Luckily they don't go bad quickly because I still have a bunch that perform well. The black liquid liner is the best I've ever used. The lipsticks are...nice. They're fine but I think for it to be worth the money it needs to be a color you really want. I will say I have a few that are colors that I can't dupe from the rest of my collection and are very flattering. Bronzers are nice, I only have one but I get a ton of use out of it. Roen I have the 11:11 and the old cool toned quad. I really like them both especially the cool one. They definitely do crease but it doesn't bother me because they're easy to pat out and the tones, especially with the cool quad, lend themselves well to that kinda grungy lived-in look. I agree wait for a sale though! I also want to try Addiction Tokyo and literally have a full cart on their site right now lol, but I made myself step away. I'm definitely going to try but need to calm down and get my list to a more reasonable level first. I've heard the shadows and blushes are similar to Surratt.

Such a good video and really got me thinking for me what I'd like to try this year! I will say I'm unofficially super low-keying any beauty purchases this whole next year but I'm semi-interested in Vieve which I've never tried anything from and also really interested in the Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint (which I wanted this past year).

MOB Beauty gets olive toned complexion right! I love love their foundation/concealer, plus it's so portable. Highly recommend. I want to try a Chanel foundation this year, or the Lisa Eldridge skin tint, if budget and shade matching allows. For brushes I'm curious about the Singe concealer brush. That's pretty much my wish list, I put the brakes on eyeshadow in 2024 and will focus on enjoying what I have this year. Happy 2025!

Happy 2025! I have looked at the MOB base products but wasn’t 100% sure if I wanted to try them. I definitely prefer a thinner liquid texture for complexion over creams.

I do have mature textured skin that is quite dry in winter, so the MOB is my go-to then as it's quite protective when I'm outside. In all other seasons, I prefer serum foundations.

Lots of these brands are on my list too! Merit, Addiction Tokyo, Bella Beaute Bar, MOB, Gucci! I really want to try Westman Atelier and Clionadh too! I love Lancôme, their base products are great, the blushes, lipsticks, mascaras in particular! And tbh I liked the Roen 11:11 palette but I didn’t love it and I think it’s expensive for what it is but that’s just me ♥️♥️♥️

I have so many of these on my list too! There are several brands I’ve tried a few things from, but I’d like to try more. Those would be Sisley, Chanel, and Gucci. I have several Gucci lipsticks. I like the Satins the most and the Voile formula too. I’d love to try the bronzers everyone raves about and maybe the new highlighters. I have Chanel quads and single eyeshadows, but I’d like to try lipsticks and blushes, and maybe foundation. People seem to love their foundations. I’d love to get a few more Dries Van Noten lipsticks. I’d also love to try a Surratt foundation. I love their shadows, blushes, and bronzer, but I’ve not tried the foundations that get so many raves. I’d also love to try Unearthly and Bella Beaute Bar. I’ve not tried anything from either of them.

That’s good to know about the Gucci lipsticks. How are the Chanel quads, I’ve heard mixed things. I think you’d like the Surratt foundation if you like a more sheer healthy vibe. Blurs well too

⁠@@QueerBones The Chanel quads depend on the formula, so I always wait for reviews. My favorite is Eclat de Nuit. I don’t think it’s around anymore. That formula is fantastic. I’ve not tried any from their regular line, or the ones that are more powdery.

I have a couple bella beauté bar palettes, the mattes r rly smooth and the shimmers are on par w other indies. but they do have a couple shimmers that r super chunky and flaky which i kinda hate lol Edit: i have the ultraviolet and the secret garden palettes for ref
