Declutter that Mac from your drawer if you’re not going to use it, but don’t throw it away, have a set away area for memories for makeup that you’ll never use but it means something to you

Decluttering really takes time. I spent 2 years and still declutter every couple months just going through stuff and really evaluating what I use and what just collects dust. I did finally buy a couple palettes from sigma in the last week or two. I didn’t have any of theirs and they had a 40% off sale so I bought the new mod and ambience palettes and they are so so in my opinion. I wasn’t really missing out on something spectacular with them, but they are ok every day palettes…and then this weekend Sephora had some Huda beauty palettes on sale that I think Lauren Mae mentioned on her community tab that were half off so I got the empowered palette and the rose quartz one basically for the cost of one normally priced. All on Afterpay, but still. I know for sure that I love the formulas in hudas bigger palettes so I’m Sure I’ll like those two I snagged.

Boy, that was sure a lot of work. Again, I give you props. I couldn't do it. I look at my stuff and there is nothing I could get rid of. There were a few lipsticks that were probably over 5, 10, or more years old, but a lot of those were my moms, so I was able to throw a few away, but the others I'm keeping especially the ones that still have that nice smell. I think those might be Channel's lipsticks. I did throw a few very small eye palettes. You know, the ones that come in a gift if you bought a product worth a certain amount of money, you get those gifts that have like a 4 shadow palette compact, lipstick, maybe a mascara.

Omg Allie, I live the benefit fiurscope palette. I have the same one and use it often and take it with me to work for touch ups. Because it’s my go to colors and I don’t end up needing to much space in my bag. It’s hard doing declutters I’m doing one now since I’m moving and it’s making me sad 😢 😅

I like 02 and 05 from Moira on their ombré blushes. For a while I didn’t want to use them because of the pan embossing… But they’re super affordable blushes, so I just dug in.

It’s so funny that you say you don’t like Supershock blushes from colourpop because I feel the same way. I like a lot of their eyeshadows and highlighters, but the blushes to me tug at my makeup and I just don’t feel the payoff is worth the trouble.
