I like the fact that you don't need to have everything out there (makeup wise) to maintain a beauty channel. A lot of people (me included) get caught up in the hoarding haha. I have never seen that ELF palette before! Looks so pretty with the combination of matte and shimmer! That Shady Lady Palette kinda reminds me of shades in the UD Smoked palette!

The naked basic 1 is my favorite! I agree with having similar shadows in there but I've literally hit pan in all of them. Lorac is also my favorite! I am a shadow palette junkie and it feels like such a relief to pass some along to others.

if you're liking the rosy colours id say go for naked3 when your ready to. my sister has it and LOVES it. i got her naked 2 for christmas this yr because she wanted something with natural tones. and it made her want the naked 3 which she got for her birthday from our mom. she loves both so much. so i think you may end up enjoying it! she also has very fare skin.

when you started talking about shadows in palettes being out of order i immediately thought of the lorac pro 2 palette ! the first edition looks as though the top and bottom colors all correspond with each other except the top row is matte and the bottom is shimmery. (not sure if that makes sense LOL) however, the second edition just looks so, idk, random ??

For the naked basics, you could use the lighter colours as a highlighter or to bake any liquid concealer or foundation

If you only like a few colors from your palettes you can always just depot the ones you like into a z-palette or a mac palette (without the dividers the empty mac palettes are only 8 bucks). I prefer the mac palette because it feels sturdier and cheaper than the z-palettes.

The Two Faced Natural Eyes Palette is my FAVOURITE!!! I originally bought the Naked 2 palette and was so disappointed, and hardly ever use it. The Natural Eyes palette is my go to, no brainer!

Omg I totally know what you mean with the not liking when the shadows aren't in order/placement is unorganized or aren't in the same color family. Drives me nuts, I think maybe it's a slight ocd organizational thing. I've "depotted" and transferred different shadows into a Kat Von D palette and that made me reach for it more :)

I feel the same way! It really bothers me when palettes don't seem to have any flow or have that one color that doesn't match. It also drives me insane when palettes contain a mix of creams and shadows. You always get fallout in the creams, plus I don't like using a lip product that I can't throw in my purse and apply on the go. Makes me crazy!

Well if want an eyeshadow palette for everyday looks i would suggest that wer n wild comfort zone palette she showed for a drugstore option and if you want something high end i would suggest the Balm Meet Matte Nude palette, you can save a few bucks by purchasing on amazon. Also Elf is a good brand to start with brushes, and setting powders, even lip colors. Just pick what you like and will enjoy! As far as getting the hang of how to use products, just watch the plethora of tutorial on youtube, i really like leighannsays tutorials! Check her out! You will get the hang of it!

If you're considering the Naked 3, I would take a look at the Lorac Unzipped palette instead. I find that the colors are more pigmented, more wearable, have less fallout, and are even more stunning.

The coastal scents revealed 2 palette is a grey dupe for the urban decay 3 and the revealed 1 is a dupe for the naked 1 & 2. Kinda regret getting all 3 naked palettes but the 3 is gorgeous but i'd say go for the coastal scents one

I know what you mean about the order of eyeshadows in palettes!!! I have the Too Faced Joy to the Girls holiday palette from 2013? I believe, and they put a blue shadow smack dab in the middle with a pink right next to it. Drives me nuts.

OMG girl! It bugs me soo much too when a color doesn't go with a palette. Like I was just looking at the Naked Palette online debating which of the three I should get, and the only reason I didn't want to get the first is because it has the random blue at the end!! For some reason blues in a neutral palette, or really any palette, just bug me so much! You're not alone!

I totally think Natural Eyes by Too Faced needs more love! It's the only palette I use on the regs and I've hit pan on Silk Teddy and Push Up. Breaks my heart that they don't do singles of these shades -cries about it- P.S - thank you for introducing me to Haute Look, I'm so glad it ships to Australia :D I have a feeling a lot of my money is going to go to that and Nordstrom in the coming months...(Australian makeup prices are crazy. $36 for a MAC lipstick? The struggle is real, yo).

Kohls has the balm and lorac. You can use your 30%. I love the two face natural eyes pallet and really want it. I feel like with pallets you get similar colors in each. So really you can buy one or two pallets and be set. Idk which is cost effective buying a pallet or creating a zpallet?

I agree, for the Naked Basics the shadow walk of shame should be replaced with a darker color. I got the Naked Basics to see how I would like it and I ended up liking it so much that I bought the Naked 2 Basics and it is such a good combo of colors!
