Hi Mary. Love your videos. On super hot days, I do my normal skincare routine in the morning, and I top it off with Dr. G Green Mild Up Sun lotion - it acts like a primer but has an SPF of 50. On top of that, I then use L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect 4-in-1 Tinted Face Balm Foundation with Firming Serum. Then a slick of a rose-tinted cream blush, a dab of highlighter on the highest part of my cheeks, eyebrow gel, mascara, and lipstick. The big staying power comes from the primer and the last step of my routine, pressed powder from Essence and it is a very subtle highlighter. I grew up in Galway, and now live in CT - 30 years here. The humidity in the summer, as you may well know, is brutal. But, I'd find it very hard to give up my summers here for summers in Ireland. Been there, done that. I don't know if you've ever done a video about shopping at Kildare Village. But the dollar is so strong against the Euro right now, maybe some viewers who are planning to visit Ireland might like to see a video about it. I got a Barbour jacket, Hobbs shoes, Hobbs dress and an LK Bennet dress there back in June when I was visiting. All for under $800. Great bargains. Thanks for the videos. Slainte.

Thank you so much for watching 😊 You're the 2nd person to say L'Oreal Balm is perfect for hot days....they don't sell in Ireland but I think I can find it online 🤞 Wow, 30 years away - I'd say the weather is a huge improvement for sure! That is such a great idea about Kildare Village. I'm just back from time in the US and man, the euro is getting killed 😬. Ok, let me see what I can do that one. Thanks so much for the suggestion. We’ve been having a heat wave in NY as well but I don’t think it’s as bad as yours. I’ve just been doing some light concealer under my eyes and light tinted moisturizer and calling it a day! Stay cool my friend!

My south FL it’s too dang hot (or I’m just too lazy but feel I ought to do at least a little something) for makeup routine: Trinny London BFF… Glossier cloud paint, boy brow, and mascara… NARS afterglow lip balm. I’ve been playing with Jones Road lip & cheek but am not convinced I love it as much as the Glossier cloud paint.

I am doing a no buy July as well. I am really trying to use up what I have. My carts are getting full, but I’m not moving forward to purchase until I use up almost all of what I have already purchased and like just fine. My goodness you have gotten some color this summer! I have a friend in Co. Clare and they are STRUGGLING with the heat. I am headed to Vegas this weekend and am going with only tinted sunscreen, stick products, tubing mascara, and lip balms. I brought a small powder for the shiny parts around my nose, but that is it. I am bringing a full size antiperspirant and a swimming suit, tho.

@@SkinObsessedMary yes, I am having a hard time resisting because I like to try new things, but I have enough and it is too hot to layer on very much product anyway. This is a family visit. My SO was born and raised in Vegas. His family is pretty well known in the local Vegas community, so not a classic trip to Vegas. Only 98F here right now, so not too bad.

Your skin is so beautiful, honestly I don’t think you need anything. I’m still trying to find products that will stay on. With the weather being 110 to 115, it’s hard to find anything that will work. Have a wonderful weekend.

I'm in southern New Mexico and it's HOT. I've been using the Loreal balm and NYX cream blush... With a little powder. I use the MAC Painterly but only as a base. I'm going to try it today alone.

@@SkinObsessedMary Yes, I LOVE Painterly on it's own, especially daily for work. I have another light MAC powder that I sometimes use just over the crease since I have hooded eyes and I'm not 20! LOL. Hope you're able to try the balm...it's really great.
