Talk about full coverage! I don’t think I was ready for this foundation! Have any of you tried it? What are your thoughts??

I picked up a sample and it's a pass for me. Coverage is good however it just didn't set on my oily skin properly especially once my oils started coming through. When you swiped along your nose and the foundation just come off, that's exactly how my whole face felt.

TrinaDuhra I know how hot it can get while doing our makeup, but bc you record, the Dyson fan is quiet, maybe it might help with the heat lol. Loved your makeup 😌💚💚💚

I love this foundation bc of its finish and it makes me look flawless without being cakey. It’s not long wearing, like you said you’ll have to touch up thru out the day. But I’ve yet to find a foundation that I absolutely LOVE how it looks on my skin so for now I’ll commit to touching it up until I find something I like better.

Loved your candid, honest, and specific commentary on exactly what you were experiencing with the foundation Trina! That is the most important thing I am looking for in a foundation first impression and/or review. If you try it out with other primers or application techniques and find a combo that really works for you, I'd love to see a follow-up review!

I actually use this foundation in my tzone and then do a moisturizing cream foundation elsewhere. It stays all day and keeps my makeup looking freshly applied.

Great and honest review as always Trina! Sometimes it’s hard to give a definitive answer after one try. Sometimes we have to experiment with different primers, moisturizers, powders etc to really get an idea how a product will perform. Take good care.☕️😊

i bought „sand“ and in the tube and online it looked exactly like my skin but irl it‘s quite orange... i can‘t send it back, so i‘ll use it, it‘s not that bad BUT i will buy a lighter shade if i run out

Whats your favorite foundation? Urban decay naked skin was mine but they discontinued and came out with a new line and I hate it. It’s runny but thicker and less coverage than before for me and it separates and shows all my lines and creases a lot :( now w quarantine it’s been hard to try out other items I have to do curbside or order online :/ I also like something not cakey as well

If you skip the moisturizer you may not have the problem that you were dealing with. Using moisturizer only at nighttime. Just a thought...

Hi! You have lovely skin! I always use Make up Forever HD but my skin gets oily and it's summer so the girl at Sephora recommended the Makeup Forever Matte Velvet Skin, for oily skin, came home and tried it and couldn't believe how it made my skin look, loved how light it was and full coverage. I haven't used it from the box yet, still using the sample from Sephora, and got a sample of the the Georgio Armani Foundation as, haven't tried that yet...been using Make Up Forever HD for soon long, hard to part from that lol I want to know has anyone made the switch, and what did they like better? Thanks! :)

Trina... This foundation looks like it will suit only oily skin types. I have normal to combination skin.. and even I think this would be too mattifying for me.. what with the winters round the corner

I feel you on that! I can’t believe how matte it was at first! I’m a big fan of the makeup forever ultra hd liquid. If you haven’t checked that out definitely consider it. It works better for my skin! :)
