Beautiful look! Our tradition ( married with two amazing teenage boys) is traditional turkey dinner. Then at 8 ish we sit down and kick off Christmas by watching The Santa Clause and eat pie. In fact I’m killing time waiting right now. Amazingly my 19 year old went to his girlfriends after dinner and CAME BACK to watch it with us!!! 😍😍😍😍😍. Thankful for my hubby and wonderful kids!

Talking about every year going by faster than the last, I have a theory (that makes sense to me) about why we feel that way. When we were 2 years old, 1 year was 1/2 of our life, at the age of 10, it was only 1/10 of our life. At 30, only 1/30. So, each year, that year is a smaller fraction of our life than the year before, so it feels like it's going by faster. Just thought I'd share that! Love this video, and I'm thankful for influencers like you who share their love and passion with us without the drama or making me feel like I need to spend tons of money to be beautiful or to create a beautiful makeup look. Bernardette Robinson that does actually happen with the Lash Paradise sadly. A lot of people experience that, and I think even she mentioned that in an older video. This is why I prefer the It Cosmetics Superhero and Colormax Cosmetics Mascaras over Lash Paradise, they are a bit pricier but last Wayyy longer. And it looks better on my lashes as well, no flakes throughout the day and not smudges, especially with the Colormax Cosmetics one

I hope you and your husband had a wonderful Thanksgiving and got to enjoy time with family. 2018 went so fast that it's almost terrifying. Although I have reasons to be happy that this year went quickly (I'm graduating with my bachelors degree in May and I'm 38!!!), it's also a little hard on my heart because my babies turn(ed) 8 and 13 this year. I don't know why time passes so much faster as we get older but it definitely does!

2018 has totally flown by! I once saw someone say that the reason the years seem to pass so much quicker as you get older is because one year ends up being a smaller and smaller increment of your life. When you're 5, one year is 1/5 of your entire life! That's a huge chunk. But when you're 24, it's only 1/24 of your life, which is (comparatively) a much smaller portion.

I so agree with the gratitude list changing you. It’s hard to be resentful and grateful at the same time. I disagree with makeup being a small, unimportant thing. If I am just going to the grocery store and only apply the bare minimum, it changes how I feel. I also sometimes suffer from low self-esteem and it helps me so much to just think I count too. I also know ppl who have birthmarks and scars and it’s life changing for them. I just think it’s more important than a frivolous thing. I guess it depends on who you are too. Your looks never disappoint! Hope your Thanksgiving was a good one. We don't really have a typical tradition. But our meal always consists of ham (cooked in 12oz coca cola, sliced round pinapples all over pinned with toothpicks and cherries pinned in the center of the pineapples) , chicken and dressing, butter beans, potato salad and deviled eggs. The rest of dinner might change depending on what someone wants to bring. But this is an absolute staple in the menu every year.
