I cannot believe you DIDn’t like the GIVENCHY omg I’m 62 and it’s AMAZING on my skin. I’m dry and it’s the best powder I have tried. Wow ! I guess maybe it’s the mature skin VS baby skin. Ha ha ha. I also love the Catrice 24 mattifying pressed Waterproof powder #SantaSam I thinks it’s funny how one loves something and the other just doesn’t ❤❤😂😂😂

#SantaSam I didn’t have too many regrets with the small amount of makeup I bought this year. I did focus more on skincare (I’m 52). I didn’t like the Rare Beauty lip oil (it dried my lips). I will say I’m obsessed with my Huda Pretty Grunge palette. I just saw the Tati video and she did an eye look that I’m copying for Mondays outfit for work.

Colourpop's Creme Gel Eyeliner and Pixi's Endless Silky Eye Pencil are my two favorite eyeliners from the drugstore that stays in place well. My favorite high end eyeliners that I like are the Sephora Collection 12 Hour Contour Pencil Eyeliner in 60 Fresh Mint and Too Faced Killer Eyeliners. Both of them stay in place in the waterline really well. If you want a good affordable eyeliner I would say LA Girl Stay Put Gel Eyeliner in Emerald Green looks so pretty on. You're missing days 2, 4, 6, and 9 to fill out the forms. #santasam

I didn't end up getting the Zenon or the Pretty Grunge palettes and I am happy with that decision. I think I'm moving into a more low maintenance era with my makeup and I just don't have time to put a bunch of extra effort into getting something too work. Lol! 😅 Thanks for saving me those coins with you videos on those two! I can't wait to see your Ireland content! #santasam

#SantaSam I fell in love with the ND I Need A Nude palette. It's the first Midi sized palette that I purchased and I loved it so much I picked up the Glam palette during a Black Friday sale. They're my perfect color stories. I know that the Yucca and Xenon aren't my preferred color stories.

My regret was Lisa Eldridge eye shadow palette. the colors didnt work for me and i was not wowed by the formula either. the rest of my purchases this year was spot on. #SantaSam

#SantaSam I regret buying PMG Heutopian dream, picked it up this year for 40% and I've realised I dont like her special shade formula, no matter what way I apply the special shades in that palette, I end up with fallout all over my face

I think I'm pretty ok with every purchase this year... I bought some cream shadows from Charlotte Tilbury and a five pan eyeshadow palette from Dior. I think cream shadows are wonderful for those one and done looks! #SantaSam

Hi Sam, I felt the same way about the GXVE eyebrow pencil. I bought 2 colors from Sephora and both were dried out and difficult to use. So disappointed! BTW, Ireland is beautiful. You're going to enjoy your trip, but it is going to be cold and rainy, so be prepared. #SantaSam

I think the same about Natasha Denona palette. It's my favorite formula but there are a lot of them they look the same . I had to declutter some because the shades look the same on me. I'm feeling the same about not having a lot of makeup anymore and keeping the ones that really works for me. I'm from Brazil and I'm living in California now. The Yucca palette is one I thought I might regret but don't. I wonder if the shade similarities are dependent on undertone because several swatched closely on my arm but look completely different on the eyelid ... 🤔 I definitely enjoy it more than Xenon but, then, Xenon is more of a companion palette IMO. 🧑‍🎄 #SantaSam

#santasam The only makeup product I returned this year was the Patrick Ta 3 matte eyeshadow palette. I found most of the shades too dark for me and preferred my Viseart or ND mattes to his formula. I was super disappointed because I love matte shadows, but that one wasn’t for me.

I always appreciate videos like this because they remind me that even if my preferences are (or skin type is) the same as a content creators, that makeup/skincare just doesn't work the same on everyone. Phew! Didn’t buy any of these and I bought a lot of makeup in the last month … couldn’t resist the sales! But what was a fail for me was the Mothership palette. I bought one a couple years ago and didn’t like it at all. The colors were not for me. This time the colors seemed more up my alley (Sunlight Seduction) but man, those shadows are terrible. They are so dry! And the sparkly shades deposit glitter all over my face no matter what method I use to apply them. Why didn’t I learn my lesson after the first palette. Especially when Huda Beauty and Natasha Denona have beautiful shadows that are easy to work with at half the price!

Hey Sam I really enjoyed this video lol! I have products like these that it seems everyone loves but that don’t work for me. The one that pops into my head is the Huda Beauty concealer( faux filter one )it just makes my fine lines pop not what my almost 60 year old eyes need and definitely not what I’m going for hahaha but then the Givenchy powder is one of my must haves . I think it’s funny how things will work so well for some and totally not for others 😊 but life is like that in general right? I have so many makeup regrets, mostly complexion producs because I apparently have no idea what color I am 😂. Not one of my foundations or concealers match me well. I am really starting to love lip oils, I love the Sigma one and the elf ones. I'll have to try the yummy gloss. I haven't tried any of those palettes. I did purchase the latest trendmood box because it had the Danessa Myricks neutrals pallete and I didn't like it at all, I'm glad I got it in the box instead of buying it separately because at least I have some other products instead of spending the money buying just the palette . There are so many less expensive palettes that in my opinion, look and perform better. I like pretty much the same types of eye looks as you so I enjoy hearing your opinions on the palettes, I rarely can purchase the expensive stuff, so you've saved me money on things I probably wouldn't like but think I need because everyone else raves about them. #santasam

Love the regret video!!! I know we all have them! The biggest surprise is the Givenchy powder. I know we all like different things based on skin condition, preferences, etc., but that is an amazing powder. I actually use all the shades together and press into my skin, under eyes and t zone area. It gives such a beautiful blurred finished look and it lasts like all day. The finish is stunning. I have the Huda palette but have t used it. I’ve heard sooo many less than favorable reviews, not that it’s awful, but it’s just ok. That’s a bummer but oh well.

The first thing that comes to mind as far as makeup regrets this year is the Spark the Fire Plumping Lip Balm by GXVE Beauty. I got the shade O-M-G which I love, but the product burned so much that I had to wash it off. I avoided a couple of potential regrets this year by waiting and watching reviews before buying some of the ND palettes this year. I always want to get her new releases as soon as possible, but I would have truly regretted buying the Yucca and Xenon palettes, and that blue 5-pan that she released (Mini Triochrome)? Glad I waited on those. #SantaSam
