tbh i get really cheap sponges at the grocery store, and i use them for ages, well past when they are totally saturated with foundation, so it doesnt suck it all in.

What I mean by my comment is that videos (like this one) telling people what not to do with their makeup completely restricts the artistry. Yes technique is important but everybody develops their own technique for what they like. It can be discouraging to watch someone with such a large following tell you that what you like is wrong. Especially for young artists starting out. You should never be made to feel self conscious about how you do your makeup if that's how you like to look and videos like this could have that effect.

Results may vary. I actually can’t go with a concealer lighter than my under eye even by one shade, because I have a very red T-zone and I still get a raccoon mask. The only thing that has worked for me is to go with a concealer that’s the very same shade as my foundation, or the same but without any pink tone. My under eye circles pretty much disappear after I set it.

I feel like the whole "don't" side was more for everyday wear, rather than in general for everything. If you're doing uber dramatic makeup, for whatever reason, rather than a natural (ish) makeup look that looks like you have minimal barely there makeup, then this doesn't really apply to you, yknow?

I think she is saying that is not the most flattering for eyes, especially when it comes to an everyday or every occasion look. When people do winged eyeliner, it's usually to pronounce and elongate their natural eyeshape, inwhich the Don't side doesn't exactly do that.

The brows are something i've never managed to do well xD I kinda do the blocky/stamp thing that you're not supposed to but that's because I have black eyebrow hair and I've never seen black eyebrows done. Everyone does them in brown and that's just not my natural color, all the black ones I've seen have been blocky so that's the way I do mine .-.

I have black hair and black eyebrows and to make them non-boxy i just fill in the arch and the tail with a black eyeshadow and then i just take a spoolie and gently blend from the middle to te beggining and that makes them more natural hahah

My skins so oily that setting spray and setting powder doesn't help. It gets annoying blotting my fave, but there is only one thing that has worked. It's amazing. It's milk of magnesia. I know to the people saying it's not good, but at the end of the day I have a little oil but other than that my face is matte.
