Makeup Repair - NO Alcohol!

I just tried this on my BareMinerals BarePro foundation and it worked. I have just a little flakes around the edges that came out when I turned it over but I think I needed to have pressed a little harder to complete the process. I love this. I didn’t have to go purchase a whole new one. Ulta told me about a KZbin video process and I found you. Thank you.

I just tried this on a highlighter that I LOVED from Fashion Fair that they no longer make that I dropped. I was devastated when it broke and didn’t want to disturb the great formula with alcohol or setting spray at all! This worked GREAT exactly as you directed. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you❣️

Omg! This totally worked! I ordered bare minerals from Sephora when it came it was all broken 😢 Sephora did send me another compact though! And now I have salvaged this one thanks to your video!

Oh my gosh, thank you so much Amanda! I just bought a new Barepro compact about a month ago and accidentally dropped it a couple weeks ago. I lost about half the product while the other half was intact. While traveling this weekend I had to check in my carry-on luggage due to the compartments in the plane being full. Needless to say the rest of my compact was shattered as it was being transported. I was really hoping I wouldn’t have to spend another $45 on a new compact, and stumbled upon this video. It worked like a charm and took me about 3 minutes! I wiped my compact instead of rinsing it and did all the mashing inside the ziplock bag. I did the upside down test and it was set perfectly, and there was very little cleanup. I also love that this method doesn’t involve alcohol as I have sensitive skin. If I knew about this a couple weeks ago I could’ve saved my entire compact instead of throwing away the other half. Thank you so much for sharing!😃 god bless you!🙏💞

Hey what tissue you used is is it a tissue or a wet wipes?

I just used a paper towel since it’s firmer than a tissue (less chance it will rip while pressing) and I think it has less lint too. I pressed very firmly around the whole compact several times.

Did not expect this to work, but just gave it a try. I had 23 empty Mac Blot compacts, a lot of them had tiny bits left in it and I scraped all of them out. Pressed it insanely hard with a spice container that had the same diameter as my compact. I now have at least enough powder for a month or two to use again!

I haven’t tried on that one specifically, but I would give it a shot! It seems to work really well for most brands. If the compact is already broken, it can’t hurt. Good luck & report back if you do try!! 🤞🏼

I tried this after I tried to fix my compact powder with the alcohol method. I don't know if I did it wrong but the alcohol bind my powder too much that I can't even swatch it using my sponge, so I had to break it up again just to press it with no alcohol the 2nd time

I just tried it. Did not work even if I tried it 5 times. The powder always falls off during the double-checking step where you kind of flip the compas over. :(

That looks like a pain in the *%&. I've got a Lime Crime eyeshadow palette that broke. That stuff's no joke. It's bright so pigmented that I ruin something every time I use it. I taped it shut but I don't wanna toss it. Maybe I'll try this fix OUTSIDE, so I don't end up with fushia carpet and walls.

No. You just put a lot of bacteria in that compact by using your fingers. Just buy a $2 makeup press. No one wants pink eye.

Wrong! Take some Saran Wrap and wrap it around your finger and compress the powder!
