I purchased the Neverful thinking it would good for travel or days when I need to carry more things. I don’t overstuff but the straps can really dig into my shoulder when you are standing in line or just carrying it for a longer period of time. Wish it had thicker straps.

I think it depends on lifestyle, pre Covid I used my Neverfull (MM) almost everyday! For work, for travel on the plane, as a baby bag! It was always full 😆 Now I’m all about my speedy BB again if any bag. As we move into the new “normal” who knows what I’ll stuff a purse, phone and mask into! 🤷🏼‍♀️

I am glad you mention the Dior book tote, from the moment every influencer show it as a travel bag I said no way. maybe a road trip but never on a plane. looks so bulky, stiff and uncomfortable.

Lol! Totally agree with you on the book tote and the bum bag! I was so close to getting the bum bag but hubby convinced me that it wasn’t practical. I like it best lengthened and worn low as a crossbody. Maybe make a video on bags on your *wish list*? Curious to see why they’d be on your wish list and the utility. I like to buy bags that are different and serves their own unique purpose. Also working on changing it up by straying from typical black and beige bags.

Lol. When i have a larger bag and ask hub if he wants me to hold his keys or wallet and declines. But the 2nd i switched to a crossbody to hold the bare minimum he asks if i can hold his keys. 🤣

I love the LV bumbag. I got it on a whim and I like the crossbody look but you have to wear it looser. I think it’s a little bit big to be worn on the waist though. I have a smaller lululemon one that looks better worn on the waist. I never thought I would like the Fanny pack thing again but here I am 😆. Love the Chanels 💕. Thanks for the review!

So sad about the Neverfull 😭 Definitely my everyday bag. I have the MM which is the perfect size for me. I love that it has the pochette because I use that as my formal clutch and night out for just my phone and other essentials. So for me the Neverfull is a 2 for 1 bag. You have such a large collection and so many choices so you are really able to tell what works best over the years. ☺️

Sometimes i consider the overrated bags are ones that aren’t as practical. ie it’s not necessarily a bad purchase but has a very niche use. My work bag sadly hasn’t gotten used since wfh but it’s still my favorite purchase. I have the Celine micro tote after selling the mini to a friend, it was much too big to keep. The micro is the biggest size of bag i go for now, and i still have my only LV which is much bigger. I think if anyone is looking for a ‘niche’ bag i wouldn’t get it to start your collection but rather to fill in the gaps. Now i am getting more use out of a crossbody on weekends. Also i have to lol @ the belt bags because i remember growing up in the 90s it being called the granny bag and now it’s trending back around but being worn as a boob bag lol. 😆

Bum bags were invented in the 60s! Looked that up. Inspired by Kangaroos,! I was surprised they have been around so long. The bags that is! I prefer cross body bags. You're probably right Tiffany, that they look best slung over the shoulder, otherwise, they look awkward. Good for athletics though maybe...if you have no built in phone pockets in your sweats!
