Here’s one one for your algorithm. I really love these having bought a couple to try and then went back and bought the full collection this morning. The scent is outstanding - they smell like a expensive tasting cupcake in a good way, That really surprised me. I think the click is a bit of fun. Good fun. And the mint feel is very very light and subtle, as I also don’t like that super harsh burning that some products insert. And I also appreciate that I can see the shade easily. And the price point. This product hit quite a few sensual elements and I feel it’s one of colour pops more excellent launches. True, every finger on the hand is different. “Hate” is a very strong word - you used it a lot here. Your channel, your rules. 🙏🏽

Thanks for this review Amanda❤I’m with you on plumping lippies, at least the hardcore ones. Love Buxom, and Milani Keep it Full Nourishing glosses, but I once used a Soap and Glory one and the pounding started at my lips went to my head and gave my a horrible headache. I was like yikes, what is this. It made me afraid to use plumping lip products. It definitely plumped, but the feeling I got was not worth it👄🫨🫤Still want to try these though, they look like something I would like!

I ordered a few of these already but haven’t received/tried them yet. I wish brands would stop with plumping ingredients. I think it’s so pointless. I don’t want to feel uncomfortable. I want the smooth , shiny lip stick/gloss. after watching this video I kinda wish I didn’t order them.

number 1, you look soooo pretty and i loveeee your nails. i picked up 2 of each because they SAID they were cooling and not burning, because i HATE burning lip products that hurt!!! i grabbed doe and psl, and the two lip liners look about exactly the same as i was watching your swatches!!! it sucks because i can’t return them, so i’ll probably give them to my little cousins that love these kinds of lip products. i hope you’re on the trip and having a blast!!! 🐣🐣🐣

I’m glad I watched your review, I had no idea these had that stingy sensation, I hate that too. I love the glossy lip balm vibe but not the plumping sting. I was hoping these would be a cheaper alternative to the Tarte ones which I really like.

These are supposed to be "cooling" because of the peppermint so they definitely aren't the worst offenders when it comes to stinging plumpers but tbh I think the "cooling" ones are almost as annoying and uncomfortable 🤣

These are basically a very tinted gloss if you take away the plumping component so probably more opaque than the tints but more similar to the glowing lips finish wise!

I was trying to figure out why the Tarte version had the clicky packaging. My guess is that is that it's their way of trying to make a very soft thick gloss apply like a lipstick. It won't hold its shape outside the tube, so you have to click it just past the rim and apply. It's kind of a dumb idea because it makes the product very messy to apply. I found myself putting it on with a lip brush, which defeats the whole purpose of having a lip gloss, IMO. I want something I can just swipe on my lips precisely.

I ordered two plumpers and one pencil to try out. I wish brands would stop the stinging formulas. I like the minty coolness types but not the pain - I'm too scared to try out the NYX duck plumps. These do sound a little like a cheap clicky kid's toy, don't they?

It's important to keep in mind that things like "pain/discomfort" are absolutely subjective and vary wildly depending on each person's situation... I have dry lips and sensitive skin so what is minimal to you might be pretty uncomfortable to me!

As someone who is allergic to mint/mentha/menthol (even toothpaste, mouthwash, etc.) it's increasingly harder to find new lip products I can use! 🤦‍♀️ I want smooth & glossy with effective hydration in pretty colors!

Try the new Tarte lip vinyls. Very juicy formula and zero mint or plumping. I have some of them. Colourpop glowing lip is also one of my favorites and doesn’t have any of that either

Maybellene Lifter Gloss with Hyaluronic Acid give the plumping illusion without the mint.. They have a vanilla coconut smell

not sure if you'll reply to this comment but i do have a question! you haven't probably tried these for long bc you dislike the formula haha but have you noticed that the balms' colors don't last at all on the lips? 😭 i don't know if it's just the case with psl but the color legit lasts for only the first hour or maybe even less. i figured this out because i never rub/lick my lips and drink or eat anything the first few hours i'm wearing a lippie :( i love the formula a lot so i was wondering if that was the case for you (or with other people as well, if anyone's reading this!) :'D

Amanda, I love your videos to pieces, but please don't ever feel compelled to review a product that is so clearly not something you'd use normally. No need to torture yourself! And honestly, I am going to get more helpful information from someone who uses stinging lip products. It will give me a basis of comparison to others on the market so I know if it's something similar to a product I already have. Take care of those lips! 😘

I think it would be boring to only stay in my safe zone and never try new things so I am def going to keep branching out and giving all kinds of things a try because sometimes you can be pleasantly surprised by a product you didn't expect to love! Plus, info is info when it comes down to facts like prices, availability, swatches, etc so I don't have to like something to share that kind of useful information 😊

The only plumping products I own are the ones I accidentally bought. I deeply dislike it. There’s one that I got in a Sephora favorites by Mario and it burnt all on my tongue and down my throat. Just, yuck!
