infact the small crab boat appear to be all by hand on top of being a really fast boy that can also do net and line fishing infact im testing on setting up all three and then pop into port to change the gear out it also hold more then the jerken ship

Yeah, for the smaller ones, more of their weight is shell, the reason for the price difference between 126 and 168 per kilo... which goes between 694,386 - 927,192, before factoring your bonus, wages, and fines. Where the game gets it's numbers... I don't know.

I wonder if the amount you catch is the same because now your crew does everything but drive but I find this a major hassle and wondering if it's even worth crabbing. If you set the pots out to close in time then on pickup you end up running out of time and losing some of the catch and doing too slower means to drop 55 pots takes around 15 hours just to drop them all. and I think it will take many hundreds of pots to fill the Svalbard. They turn blue at 18hrs and 45 minutes.

Now imagine doing that for a whole month and it wouldn't be too hard to earn a couple ten thousands each month. That could easily be a few hundred thousand each year if you do it right, though of course you still got expenses and crew wages.
