@@teakats The difference is that each chunk is roasted on all sides, which seales the flavor in the meat and gives it some extra juicyness, because the the sides of the meat are sealed by roasting it and no water can escape out of the meat fibers. Otherwise it will still cook through, but get a bit dry and has less taste. Still tasty, but not as tasty and juicy when browned on all sides!

@@lisawilliams7605 Stew is really easy to make at home, all you need is a medium to big sized pot, a stove, the ingredients and some time. Its not super work intensive if you don't make a ginormous batch like in the video. The work is also mostly frontloaded with cutting vegetables and searing the meat and then you basically just let it sit and simmer. I usually make a stew that lasts me for 1 - 2 days.
