I am so happy you came out with this. As a beginner sewer and someone who is teaching themselves, AND taking in a Victorian sewing project, this is a godsend. I was so confused as to how I would make my drawers, but now I have a clear idea. And I am elated to see your 1860s transformation gown! I love it in that purple color too!

You are so welcome! I'm happy that it was helpful to you. And yes, drawers are kind of mind-boggling - my first pair that I made looked nothing line that 😅

wow...gorgeous! you must feel like a princess wearing such pretty, delicate, well-made underthings! it's almost a shame to hide them under a gown!

Thank you so much! Yes, it's a shame, but at least I can show them on the Internet, unlike Victorian ladies 😅

Of course! I'm using cotton poplin for both chemise and drawers.
