The motherchord is cool in its own way, and so is the superultramegametalydian chord of Jacob Collier. But neither of them are even close to the most consonent way to combine all 12-edo notes into one chord. I'd argue the most stable arrangement is to lean heavily into the most consonant interval in 12-edo other than the octave - the fifth. By stacking 11 consecutive fifths, we get a rather pleasing structure, where each note is supported by strong shared overtones with both of its two nearest neighbors.

You did a stellar job with this. Extremely large-number chords have very peculiar features. I personally enjoy the feeling of not being able to identify all the notes in it quickly - and with the synths in your chords, I feel like... when it fades out there's a cool ring that kind of re-contextualizes which notes are "salient" on my ears

It’s extremely unlikely, but if any of you guys have seen the indie game “Mother”, the mother chord at 9:15 sounds just like the scene transition sound from that game. Weird.

It may be bc a piano note has two or three strings, so if one gets untuned by a small amount, then it can sound a bit dissonant

RAD BASS PLAYING BROTHER. O.K. I am a lover of microtonalism, and digging that i found your channel. i built chapman sticks in the eighties with emmet chapman and i always wanted to build a few in different subdivisiojns thinking it would be great if the frets were changeable like fitting them in a pegboard of a neck. do you remember a guy who made a guitar with changeable frets? i think it was in a turkish temperment, im not certain. i havent built said instruments (yet) i still may. anyways, love your chanel. now tell me something, the experemenation in microtonalism of then note structures are being pursued, is there anyone focusing on the rythymisation, microrythymiction? or does the western model already have that figured out by cupling, and polyrthyms. im afraid you will have to change the rythyms of the RADIOHEAD songs now ALSO.... GOOD LUCK....I BETTER GO NOW BEFORE I MAKE THE task of language also be changed.... to all sylabills increasing by one in each word of the lyrics reinterpeting. ah yes.... rick beato eat your heart out. we just took his " what makes this song great" skit and made it.... what makes this song a polyrythicizablkeizational mysanthrope of our time, with redacted poetry in mucho levels of excellence. thank you for letting my genius shine here briefly, if i had a nickle..... be well my friend, your friend in Craig Grady_VANDERFGRAFF_Overdrive,,,,,,,,victor

Great video, both in content and presentation! I'll note that the formatting in the table at 2:14 seems a bit broken, the exponents in columns "RATIO" and "PRIME F." are not properly superscripted. Putting back the superscripts in the right places is left as an exercise to the reader! 😉
