How to make a 2 piece Greenland Paddle.
In this episode, we go through the process of shaping the loom/ shaft for fitting it into the 2 piece carbon fiber ferrules.
Upcoming episodes will cover the laminated process (I use 11 strips of wood in each paddle), we will go through marking out the lines, running it through the bandsaw to rough shape. Another episode will go through shaping it with the spokeshaves and then the sanding process and, finally, applying the finish tot he paddle itself.
