I’ve been in the editing community since 2015, and I actually miss the 2018 edits a bit. But, I have strong hope that it’ll make a comeback perhaps in the next two years or so when the editing style now becomes “outdated” as trends come and go. It really was such a nostalgic and fun time in the editing community though. I think a good mix between the “older” editing style and the current editing style now would be so nice to see in the community!

The transition edit era will never come back. Lauren is the only thing keeping it from fully collapsing. After Instagram broke the algorithm which sent everyone flopping, editing will never be the same as it once was. As much as many don’t like, people like velocities more than transition edits

Damn even thinking about it now makes me shed a tear- I had 700 followers at one point and people were just adoring what I was doing at the time. Even when my first account got banned, I just started back up again and got 2k that time! If I could time travel I absolutely would and just bask in what I used to do and ABSOLUTELY practice even more with Alight Motion.
