I'm just sitting here imagining the day 50 years from now when this lands in someone's hands after a sale and they are searching the internet for the model number of the Disston Saw Nut Screwdriver and can't find any information on it. Maybe we can give it a model number: Disston No. 2024dc. Great job on this project and I really like the idea of using the medallion for this use.

Thanks Dave, an excellent little custom tool, the Medallion is a nice touch !

It was a last minute addition, and it allowed me to make use of a medallion that would otherwise be thrown away! Thanks for watching!

Nicely done Dave. That pld Disston medallion really set it off.

It was one of those lightbulb moments. I’ve had that medallion for a long time and could not bring myself to throw it away, even though it was broken….

This is a beautiful little purpose-specific driver. We shared this video on our homemade tools forum last week 😎

I don’t know about making anything, I can barely make macaroni and cheese, but I do love making tools and getting them to work properly. Thank you for the compliment!!!!

First my favorite ebay tool seller - now a youtube channel? This is great. I've always wondered who was behind those amazing tool restorations. I'm a proud owner of a few of your resurrected planes. Thank you to the algorithm Gods for suggesting this channel.

I tried to find the eBay listing but could not, using both the gentleman’s name and tools for the old soul. Could you please refer me to the correct title to search for his listings. Thank you

My eBay seller ID is Corinth1812, I just listed 5 of these on eBay with Buy it Now. Hope that was helpful.

If anyone likes the medallion idea, keep an eye out for old coat buttons.

I’ve contemplated using Indian Head Pennies as well. I don’t have any other medallions with broken studs. Love the idea of old buttons.

Looks fantastic! 15:23 version could do double duty by working well on these saw nuts as well because most of the effective force would be on the ends of the driver, not on the middle.
