I've worked with similar waterproof fabric and I had difficulties as it was sticking to the presser foot and not feeding through the machine. This I solved using a layer of tissue paper on top and underneath of the fabric, which I peeled off aftrwards. I hope this helps other people having the same issue. Good job on the backpack! I love how functional it is❤

I’m looking up how to do this to customize my own backpacks. I deal with a lot of tech and such and I’m tired of backpacks not fitting my needs and always on the move lifestyle… so, gonna fix the problem my self lol

Sorry, I cannot answer it, as I had most of the materials already around. The main fabric is from a sit sack which we didn't use any more, the black covers are from a poncho that had a big cut on it, the inner material for the back and the shoulder straps was a yoga mat and I had already a lot of paracord. What I bought was the buckles, the net fabric and the polyester webbing.
