I dont think they telling me to find my own style but to make something withno certain style in mind 😄 but yea everything I cookup is inspired from something nothing I make is 100% original if im being 100% real. Making beats with no artist in mind can be helpful sometimes but most times its more usefull to have a "goal" in mind when cooking up otherwise u just going around aimlessly tryna create soemthing. Hey man, I've been watching your videos for some time now, and you really inspired me! It has been an insane learning experience watching you come up with all those ideas that you integrate in your beats, motivating me to up my own production. I have been using mostly stock plugins or free ones up until now, and am now starting to get into paid ones. Some do have a hefty price point tho. Do you think mixing plugins such as compressors are necessary to get them from for example Fab filter, or is it possible to get great mixes without them? Cheers, keep on doing your work

Convert to piano roll means, that he can see the route notes of the sample in the piano roll. its helpfull to put other melodies or the 808 in key with the main sample.

Getting them on key or? Use edison - dump score to piano roll. I use that when I cant find the root notes
