This is me making a J Cole type beat in FL Studio. I find a sample from Samplette and flip that into a beat. This beat also reminds me kinda like some of the new songs Lil Yachty has been recently dropping. I could also hear Drake on this too. Let me know your thoughts on this in the comments!

Hey man! Just started watching again. Im really curious where did you learn to do mixing and mastering for beats?? Thats what im stuck on right now. I will have my idea laid out but things dont sound quite right. :)

Listening to greatly mixed type beats on beatstars and youtube helps! Then comparing your mixes to them and I also listen to 1-2 beats before starting to cookup to get my ears used to a gppd mix but tbh my mixes arent that great and I will be focusing on mixing/mastering alot more once I get to using my studio monitors
