Nice !!! Although you did the oneshots and choke groups the long way in the KG Mix screen then go to zone in the Edit tab change one to all and you can affect the whole program and in that same screen you can change the play mode to oneshot this will help cut your time down

Thank you for your comments!! I Completely forgot about (All) I used it all the time on the Live. That must have been super annoying to watch hahaha.

Pretty dope. Nice and crisp sounds MPC known for. BTW, I bought 2 of your MV expansion kits which sound AWESOME! It’d be nice to see you drop a video making a tack on the MV. ✌🏿

Thanks so much for this video it really is a help. I do have a question for u, towards the end when you are arranging the final sequence into song mode , how did you make some of the sequences sound different than the final sequence you made with all the sounds? For example, in the beginning of the song it’s just the melody and the sweep, but then it’s the melody with the siren, but then it follows with the drums coming in and the sequences you used for the final song have some of the sounds playing some not. How’d you do this? Sorry if it seems really basic I’m super new to MPC 4000 and still trying to understand sequences 😅

God Donut thank you for your comment!!! Honestly, I try to help out as much as I can. But there’s times you gotta keep some tricks of the trade to your self. What I would say is experiment with your sequences there’s no set rules when it comes to this. Hope that helps.

1 Tekneek I mean how did you edit the sequence when you arranged them in song mode so that some of the sounds would play and some wouldn’t? How do you edit the tracks that compose a sequence after its already been recorded? Like the end beat has the siren the sweep melody the drums the kick etc., but when the final song was released it starts with melody and the sweep and then the other sounds you recorded come in. I guess what I’m asking is let’s say you compose a beat like you did with 6 or 7 different sounds, melody, kick, bass, drum, hats, claps, etc. how do you make it so some of the sequences you copy over have only drum and melody, or melody and hat? Is there a page you can remove the tracks from the sequences? Sorry I know I’m asking a lot I just want to know how you took some of the sounds out of the sequences and then added them back in later in your song :) salute.

God Donut on the MPC, you have Sequences that form a Song, so you create Sequences for the intro,hook,verses and so on then put those sequences in song mode. Hope that helps

@@jerry-rk7yw track mutes. Organize your tracks buddy. Copy a sequence & then drop out/bring in whatever track in that sequence you want via mute or delete track there’s multiple ways to do it.

Poly do you change to 1? I didn't quite understand what you did could you please explain? if you leave it at 1 it's like playing a pad and the next one is for that? Thanks for your attention
@1Tekneek4 жыл бұрын
djbonne1 thank you for watching, yes I set the poly to 1 so if you hit the same pad over and over it will stop the first one shot from playing, its kinda like setting mute group to only one pad. Hope that helps
