You are turning into one of my favorite YT woodworkers. Please consider telling your story of how you came to the craft, how you trained, who influenced you, etc. I think many of us who watched you regularly would like that insight if you're willing to share it.

Love this one! Really pulled out a lot of techniques on this fella! Curious on one thing - if you could start over would you still leave the two knots on the front or use different pieces of wood with a smooth front? They caught my eye in the money shots and were a little bit distracting from the other amazing details you incorporated. A masterpiece either way 👍

I really admire both your technical skill and your "design on the fly" approach. But to my eye, I think you went overboard on this one. Too much going on. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. I also love to work with ash--even "torrified" ash, which has a lovely brown color throughout. Check it out. I'm a big fan of your work and your production values! Thanks!

Hey thanks Paul. I give drawings of the basic shape to clients. The details are all on the fly and I let them know this up front. If there’s something I’m on the fence about, I’ll bring them in on it, but usually that just leads to decision fatigue for them.

Ash is useful for more than just baseball bats. Great execution, dude. I imagine you could overcomplicate making a set of toy wooden blocks, but then again, I'd still watch and thumbs-up that vid. Since you asked: I'd have made the leg supports curve up and out (essentially flipping them upside down), and have the lid extend over those edges... just me.
