Thanks! My quiver always seems to be slide around at the fades and I think your design will really help me. I just got another weekend project. Great idea, and excellent video!

Great idea... Just this week I've been in the garage modifying my Quiver due to my short Fades on my 52" hunter 2 Shrew. My arrows are sticking out touching the ground🤮 What I did is extend the cover piece up 4 1/2" with a flat piece of 1 1/4 aluminum. I put it all back together added a few Washers, It worked perfect. Now I'm going to look for some carbon material or something light and durable Take it apart and Reassemble... Shrewbow's keeps talking about using an extreme Kickback For that bow... Unless I'm missing some it don't seem to do the trick. Maybe that's why they never show the fletchings in their example picture.... Hope this helps Someone with the same problem.

"They like cuz they can see it, I like it cuz it's cheap or free, even better". A man after my own heart. Great build, just need to know where you got the rubber for the lower section?
@Makingitwild2 жыл бұрын
I get rubber from a local gasket shop. They do a lot of oilfield and industrial gaskets but they let me look through cut offs and scrap and don’t charge much.

@@Makingitwild Packaging foam works great on my side quiver and of course archery stores will tell you you need to buy their foam..

@@tonymaurice4157 it’s free and last just as long as any other foam.

What type of rubber do you use for your self made straps? Very nice job on the quiver.

I get the rubber from a local gasket shop. They do a lot of oil and gas work and they sell scrap pieces cheap. I’m sure you could order it online but I haven’t looked for it.

I know this is an old video but how much would you charge for one?
@Makingitwild4 ай бұрын
Sorry I don’t sell them but if you are in the market big Jim’s archery and selway both make really good ones. There are also a few guys that make nice custom leather hoods but I don’t have experience working with them.

For your rubber I don't know if it would work this is just a suggestion a hockey puck
@Makingitwild6 ай бұрын
I’ve never thought about using a hockey puck. It might be too hard of rubber but worth a shot.

Ty can you share the dimensions of the top part of the quiver and the dimensions of the rubber arrow holder? Hoping to make one of these over the next couple weeks.
@Makingitwild Жыл бұрын
The hood is 3 1/2” wide 3 1/4” deep and 3 1/2” tall. The gripper is 4” wide and 2 1/4” deep. Hope that helps. Good luck with yours.

See ya. For everyone else hot glue is an old bandsaw trick that works great when you need to hold wood but you don’t want to make it permanent.
