How did you attach and detach the train? I am making something like this and not sure how it can be held in place and removed when they want the option. Are there any other options besides hook and eyes .

I made a train and used buttons that matched the dress. I put button holes in the front waist band. It looked great and you could not tell the train could be detached

Hook and eyes.

@@MomthatSews I used hooks and eyes too for a ruffle train. But the eyes got loose after wearing the dress for 3 times. I made eyes using thread.
