For claws... might try epoxy resin thickened with cabosil to a putty consistency. Shape, let cure and insert into clay. I do this for fish teeth in wood carvings.

It's easier to make the eyes if you make eyeballs of a harder material, like wax of gypsum. Nice video!

I started doing that. I make eyes out of clay and bake them and you’re right. That works way better. I’m still learning!
