You can buy rod ends a lot cheaper than buying the whole gas spring.

Great job. Only thing I would have added was some heat shrink on the clamp to protect the tractor paint/powder coat.

You are a master! I will be using this on my BX2350! No more skimming the shale off of my driveway when pushing snow! Thanks so much!

Glad to help. Good luck with your build. Let me know how it turns out.

Really nice setup. This is the first leveler setup that was done without drilling holes in your machine. And I really like and prefer that. My leveler idea is pretty much like yours, but I'm still figuring out how to put it on my Terramite T5c. But you have given me some ideas so maybe I can get mine build and on my backhoe loader. Great video. I learned a lot.

Liked the build and humor 😊. After you get more time in the seat, you won't need the level as much but there are times you definitely want to know the bucket is level and your device will definitely do the trick. If you don't mind me suggesting....I'd paint the rod a bright yellow or some bright color right at the Z-bend so that when it gets into the eyelet hole, it's more noticeable. On some sun-shiny days or super cloudy days, it's more difficult to see the black rod but you can see that brightly painted section moving when you adjust the bucket. Enjoyed a full-video watch. Have a fine week.

Good idea for painting the z-bend section. I haven't had any issues seeing it so far but probably I always had ideal conditions and one of these days I won't.

The bucket level indicator kit only cost $70 and looks very nice. For some reason my MX6000 came with it installed at no additional charge.

"Only" $70, must be nice to be loaded.

Nice do it yourself project, but honestly the Kubota indicator isn't all that expensive and it has less parts to go wrong. Not only that you aren't going to screw the paint up with the screw on. Makes a nice new tractor look cheap. Cost saver for someone with an old beater tractor. Nice video all the same.

Nice job! Where did you get the rod and what size is it? I've got the LA434 loader and am looking to do something very similar!
@thecountrylivingproject32634 жыл бұрын
I don't remember the size but I'm guessing 3/16" diameter by 4ft long. $3.88 at Lowe's.

The Country Living Project thanks! Sounds like a good project for this quarantine!

Yay, they told me the safety "don't drop rocks on my head" linkage was a self levelling device. As you know it's not. So i am happy to start this project for my la434.

The guy who built that garage was a landscaper!

Correct! Not a lot of fun trying to roll a mechanic's creeper or toolbox over it though, but it sure looks good.
@markmilton39494 жыл бұрын
Why didn't you just use a u bolt to bolt it on instead of cutting through bracket
@thecountrylivingproject32634 жыл бұрын
The simple answer is that I didn't think of it. But, now that you mention it, and looking back at the video it looks like that probably would have worked well Thanks for the input.
