Making a ceiling light with an Ikea wireless led driver hack

Hello, I made a flush-mounted ceiling light. Embedded a led strip and a diffuser layer into a thick piece of plywood.
I utilized the IKEA wireless led driver to power and control the led, and hacked it by plugging my own led strip directly into the driver. Sper DIY style :D
The driver outputs 24v and dims the led with a PWM signal, It can be controlled by various knobs from Ikea and their app, and also trough Hello google, Alexa and such.
Also, I am thinking about painting it in the same color as the roof, what do you think?

Nice Ikea'ish style lamp using an Ikea LED light driver...Sweet! Don't you just hate it when you get a blowout on the backside when drilling? Great video, giving me some great ideas for a future project.

Hi and thanks :D Yes blowout is no fun. I always belive that "this time" i will be carefull or sharpen the bit or use a backer but i always forget :D
