What are the dimensions for the union? And what setting did you use on your cnc for the stars?

I can’t remember exactly but I made it proportionate to the overall size of the flag. There’s flag proportions online. As for cnc speeds and feeds, I ran it fairly fast since it was such a soft wood and my cnc can easily handle 350+ ipm even on hardwoods.

On this, I did not. However, yes you could. I would do it before installing the brass.

I make the holes roughly 1mm bigger than the outer diameter of the casing. Then I drill the holes for the casings roughly 3/8” deep.
