Select a sample loop, chop it, and add drum & bass & other synth. Repeat the loop in idea mode to add or throw something away. At the end, use idea mode (with append) to arrange it, and the beat comes out~

Really appreciated how you switched to song/arrange view and kept duplicating the scene there vs. trying to create all the scenes in the idea view. That technique is a game changer in terms of adding small variations in the patterns. Thank you!

@@Sarah2ill SAAMMMMEEEEE....Im very used to not having it. i do love all the options and people do different things with them. like clips looks like something i will legit use because I would do makeshift things like setting samples as one shots so they would travel outside the pattern and so on to make certain things work

I'm glad that you made this video because when I started using Maschine it was very complicated, almost wanted to give up because of the lack of tutorial videos of the everyday producer. But this will most definitely feel the 🔥 for many starting out. Us, Bedroom Producers appreciate this. WOC: Maschine MKII Current go-to expansions: Pure Drip & Magnetic Coast

Fire. I remember seeing you and stln drms in Durham and it changed my life forever. Watching y’all taking what is beautiful audibly, adding your own energy and vibes to it changed my whole perspective on life. Simps will say y’all just make beats, but what y’all do is a philosophy of life. Taking what’s presented in front of you, make it your own; and additionally making it beautiful.lmao still paying off some bills for my Mk3 mikro and sp also, bought that ish the next day. Thank you Sarah, for perpetuating hiphop culture and making Dilla and all the others smile from above. 💯🥁

Now you come with simple talk and i fully understand how to use the Scene like i did with the other old style machines. Thank You.

super cool to see someone elses process. so many options. my pattern lengths and overall workflow is dependent on what kind of loop i find and how long or short it is. some of my scenes are 16 bars long and others are 2 and so on. i love how your first scene is like how people use the ideas view. i usually produce my stuff super linear but want to incorporate new tactics to save time and improve the results
