In Sweden we call that "hemma blind". You get so used to something you don't think about it. I live in the north of Sweden and seing a Reindeer is just part of life the same with a Moose. The only reason people talk about them is if they are by the roadside and could be a danger to traffic. While i know people from other parts of the world that are completley blown away if the see one. Had some freinds from Italy visit and they had an app and everything to calculate the chans to see the nothern lights. While I could care less. I see them a few times a year.

It’s great to finally see brave wilderness in New England. I live in Rhode Island and go to the beach many times. I’ve caught so many creatures over the years just at my local beach. You guys should try going to the mill gut at Colt State Park RI. It’s a salt marsh with lots of ribbed mussels and crabs. You guys should also try to catch the non-spiney northern puffer fish. It’s very cool and funny looking.
