Thank you so much for sharing your unfinished projects with us. Now I don’t feel so guilty about not finishing some of mine! You have beautiful colors there; Your scrap blankets will be lovely.

After seeing this part with the collection of ufos I don't feel so bad! I am doing the same thing but with the smaller pieces I am making plain small granny squares that will be joined with a contrast color to make lapghans to donate. Larger lengths of yarn will go to the stripe afghans. Thank you for the video!!!

Another interesting way to use up all these parts you've already made is to lay them out on a large area like a table or bed then work out how to crochet them all together to make one or two new completed patchworked crochet blankets. I've done that before adding extra new crochet bit inbetween in order to fill in any gaps.

Thank you for the idea of more yarn to use, I have quite a few unfinished projects in my closet. Great way to use up all that yarn instead of just storing it away to just sit there.

I do that too. I crochet and knit. Varigated yarn and solid yarn pattern or color theme of different yarns. For example blues and red white that I cut and section how much I want the cut and join next color but not all sections are even lengths. Awesome video btw.

I can definitely relate. I've only made one scrap blanket and that was years ago, but my grown daughters still have fond memories of that blanket. I'm in the process now of trying to use up the small amount of yarn I have on hand so I can make a fresh start and try new yarns. A good bit of it is from projects that I never finished, like what you showed.

Do the scrap yarns have to be the same weight per blanket, eg - only dk or only chunky?

i never had any yarn left when get projects done. side that you don't know the yarn you used so if you wash it you could have a smaller blanket.

You’re very rude, Judith. She can talk about her yarn all she’d like!
