Hi. How do you remove the excess paint after the paint filling process, where the paint has come out of the engraved areas?

@@hrvoje_k For full finished dials, they will start from 95usd depends on its design complexity and difficulty of the finishing process. This Franken dial costs 125usd before shipping cost.

Very nice dial!! i got no craftsmanship and no laser cutter but I'm interested anyway to deepen some procedure. Can you please tell me the and paper weight used @1:18 on and how you managed to remove the eccess paint @4:50 to get the very nice and clean dial @5:00? Thank you so much!

Hi Fabrizio.. Thank you so much for your nice comment. I usually used 800grit of sanding paper to remove burning laser effect on the dial plate. I used 70% alcohol to remove the excess paint. And use the optical clothes to wipe it on the excess paint. But the paint on the dial itself must be strong enough to handle the chemical liquid such as alcohols. I use acrylic lacquer paints which has gasoline proof. Since there're a lot of related questions about how I removed the excess paint, I'm thinking to make dedicated video about it in the future.

Nice dial design. If you'd be willing to make a video showing how the excess paint is removed, that would be really helpful. I'd be interested to know if you wait until it dries or remove while wet, and how that is done. It seems to be the one mystery behind how these are made.

I showed the process of removing the excess paint in some of my videos. But I forget in which video it is. Since the paints that I used are easily to be removed, I have no problem in removing the excess paint when it's already completely dry.

Thanks! I don't know about the software. Since I use a laser vendor service to make dial plates. But the laser machine is from Han's Laser.

Thank you so much for your nice words about my work. Really appreciate it. Actually it's not my own laser machine. I use laser engraving service from a big vendor here who uses fiber laser type. It can cut and engrave metal.
