Really digging the direction this build is heading.

It would be a ridiculous amount of work. But if the quilting was stitched with copper wire 😯 Great work! looks killer coming along so sick!

I think most people don't realize how many hours it takes to do that firewall and all the sheet-metal work. It is looking great!

Hello Kyle. I've always been a fan of the bead roller and all that can be achieved with it in the right hands. That quilted effect looks amazing, buddy!😍 What you said about a lot of people hiding the work is spot on. I love that people like you and Jeb Greenstone choose to show the work, actually showcase it in all its glory, imperfections and all.👌 It even makes the casual observer stop and take notice that this is not an ordinary, mass produced item... it's a custom one-off and should be appreciated. Well done, my man!👏 Have an awesome weekend!

Lookin Good..the 2 piece Firewall is a smart idea, the Quilting sets it off. Thanks for explaining your proceses as you go. I know it takes time but anOld viewer appreciates it. lookin forward to your next video.......:}

The firewall looks sick! It was a good call going reverse quilted. This thing is really coming together as you fab up all the little cover and trim pieces.

Hate to say it but the quilting backwards (with the lines out) looks just like it is, backwards. Reverse it while ya can on this totally a$$ kicking build from an extremely talented builder.

It would be awesome to see you cut up a mustang hood and make your roof from it. Maybe redo that back “trunk” panel with one too. I believe it would tie into the rest of the factory body lines and give it a bit more “factory” flare. With all the bead rolling that has been done up front and on the inside I believe the back looks too plain compared to the rest of the car. Don’t get me wrong it’s crazy amazing work and it will come out absolutely beautiful no matter what you do but just some ideas to roll around :) good luck and best wishes. Been watching with anticipation from day one of the build and can’t wait for the next update!!

I just used a skateboard wheel for the bottom wheel on bead roller and made the top skinning die on my lathe to do my quilting. Skateboard wheel works really good, just have to drill out where bearings would go so it will slide on shaft of bead roller.

There will be those that will question the reverse quilt look. That’s good. If people talk about it, it means they are ‘engaged’. I think it’s ‘cool as’ and totally in tune with this build. Has given me some thoughts about my van.. it’s a heap... Kyle has your head roller Always been powered or did you convert it yourself? Some serious skills...

How do you bead roll without distorting the metal? Mine always twist and won’t stay flat.
@kriswithak224 жыл бұрын
Flatten it after every line you run than you are doing it to small distortion not waiting until the end when you have a lot of distortion. The process will always cause it so flatten back out often.

The pleats look dope. I dig it. However not trying to be a debbie downer or a hater. I think the pleats look has been kind of played out a bit. It seems like everyone is doing it. Having said that just some constructive criticism. Doing some speed holes layered with a back plate would have looked dope. Could've brought some of the design ques from the seats. Just my opinion. But it's your car build it your way

If you would've done it the right side up, it would've worked as amazing accent. Now it looks like it's fitted the wrong side up. Originality is one thing, but aesthetics follow strict rules. It's either ugly or beautiful.

Dude, Clearcoat is way better that Sharkhide, with sharkhide, you still gotta re apply it now and then, it really doesn't last "several years" especially if you actually take your car out of the garage and drive it!
