Knocked it out of the park with this one. Every time I watch a new video I see more attention to details that make these weapons even more brilliant. Willing to bet that testing was a booger with the added weight shifting a wee bit. All comes down to extra hard work creating a beautiful and shiny weapon of destruction. I like that. What is supposed to be the added advantage of the weight in the end over getting whacked by a solid piece of stove wood? It stopped the club from bouncing?

Exactly that. Deadblow mallets are pretty common - same idea. Energy all goes into the struck object, rather than bouncing the tool back.

love the grain in that wood mate tip top. Hope you dont mind me saying mate, but try lowering your tool rest a bit, the tool will cut better when the cutting edge is at the mid point of your work piece. cheers for the video as always but cracking job

Nice job but why is the shot loose in the cavity. Why not put in a metal sleeve then molten lead?

What a beautiful piece of wood. Can you tell us what it is? The addition of the carbon fibre(?) end cap and pins is a really nice touch. A vigil has never been brutalised with so fine an instrument before!

Wow, heck of a club there! I really like the wood you used. Turned out gorgeous with that polish on it. Also, I got a good chuckle out of the jump-cuts in the outro. Pretty unexpected and I nearly snorted my post-work libation. You keep raising that bar.

Do you make custom truncheons to order? I had one made a while back by a guy in the US, but i stupidly didn't check the laws about bringing them into the country and it was confiscated. It was made with African Blackwood as well 😢
