Making a DIY Metal Band Saw - The Band Saw Wheels!

This is the fourth part of my DIY Metal Band Saw project. This time I show two ways of how to make a band saw wheel. One of these wheels were made by PCBWay.com. I sent them a drawing and they sent me this part for this project to show you their possibilities. The second one will be made out of scratch by me

👍 Luksior, ja bym jeszcze dodał twardą sprężynę lub zestaw podkładek sprężystych do śruby napinającej taśmę żeby miała możliwość pracy bo przy nagrzewaniu od cięcia może cię wydłużać minimalnie. Ja niedawno wyhaczyłem i kupiłem jak nową BS260G cormaka w cenie i nie będę już budował. z jednej strony cieszę się z maszyny a drugiej szkoda że nie będzie chellengu z budowy :( Tak czy inaczej dzięki za tipy i wymiary, może kiedyś się przydadzą, może zbuduję większą od tej co mam😀 Kolejne etapy obejrzę z przyjemnością jak i inne filmy. Powodzenia👍💪

Jeżeli będzie potrzeba to pomyślę nad sprężyną :D No pewnie bardziej opłaca się kupić gotową piłę, bo ja już dość sporo spędziłem czasu na budowie a wciąż napotykam problemy... Dzięki za follow i komentarze - bardzo mi miło :)

Jaki koszt zamówienia takiego koła z pcbway? Korzystałem z ich usług w zakresie pcb nie wiedziałem że mają obróbkę CNC w ofercie 😮

240 mm outher diameter. 5mm of wall gap depth. So it is 10 mm from both sides. The inner diameter is 230mm. Cut velocity is then 79 meters per minute. Am I right or? I am so, so ashamed that I do not know that. Yikes to me.

@@GBWM_CNC I am building similar machine, it will have 40meters per minute cutting speed. 79 is a little bit on the upper side for me. Thank you for your response.

​@@MarioAPN from what I saw the bimetal blades should run at about 75 m/min for structural steel, about 80-100 for aluminium and like 50-60 for stainless. I don't cut much stainless so I should be fine but if you do cut harder materials you should definitely go for the 40 mpm setup :)
