If you're using GRBL to control your machine, the excellent bCNC command sender software has a very useful drag knife plugin.

Great work. Jst a note, the blade had a hole to fix it in the position.

Hi CNCSwede. I'm very curious about what coolant you are using whilst machining this project. I have the same air tube/coolant setup as your's, but have never found the right coolant to use and have struggled to get the air pressure and the coolant metering right. Can you help with some advice? Cheers!

Geoff Sims Hi! I use something that in Sweden named T-Red it’s for Trangia camping burners and as frost protection in washer fluid in cars and so on. I think it’s Denaturated alcohol in English. To limit the amount of alcohol, I have put a small valve on the hose to the bottle.

Hi. Thanks so much for your reply. I think T-Red is available here in Australia. I'll give it a try. I'll put in a valve as well. Thanks again. Cheers!

Hi CNCSwede! I was wondering if you used any special program to account for the offset? If you didn't, how accurate was the cut compared to drawings?

Is that a spring in between the plates that hold the ball bearings? I purchased the plans but there's no mention of a spring anywhere :)
@CNCSwede5 жыл бұрын
No. it's a washer spacer to lighten the pressure of the center on the bearings.

@@CNCSwede Thanks! I've seen some other designs with a spring - I thought you adapted it to the Grunblau :)
