Thank you very much bro, I made it with a more little box than that one but it was the same idea and it works fantastic. For 10 euros I can enjoy games like Dirt Rally, Automobilista and Assetto Corsa by a way i've never imagine. Great idea and hope that other people try to do this because it's fantastic and very easy

I've been considering the idea for a long time , and once I can get my hands on a racing wheel like the microsoft sidewinder racing wheel , this sidewinder joystick is going to double as my handbrake , at least until I can get my hands on a standalone H shifter that solely uses USB and does not need to connect to my wheel .

Awesome video! Thanks so much! It looks great, but when it is in a resting position, the e-brake is being pressed. I have to push and hold the handle completely forward to allow the car to accelerate. Do you know how I can fix this?

im not sure if im too late, but a lot of games have the option to reverse it, means it will work the way you want it to. i know assetto corsa has this option.

IvoryTowerGator This is my issue with Forza and there is no option to reverse it. I've messed with the dead zone settings and still no luck wbu?

Just put spring inside and it will pull that handle for you.

the pcb has 3 minutes 30 where does it come from ?

how long was the pipe? also how did you secure it to the joystick (glue)? just want to know what materials i need to get before i pull my joystick apart haha

The pipe is 20 cm, and I didn't use glue for it. It fits nicely on the joystick. You can use glue, but it is not important.

How does the pc register this as a button for braking

You must download the driver of the Logitech attack 3 and than if you go to your settings you can see it. It does not work as a normal button, now if you pull harder at your joystick, your car wil brake harder, thats different with a boring button for handbrake. :)

The wheel works on a ps4, no idea of the handbrake works on it.

please someone who has tested let me know if it works for xbox so i know if its worth spending money on it so i dont spend money and build it and it not work as im in need of hand brake system mod for xbox too annoying moving your fienr to the button while using the wheel

I would be very surprised if the Attack 3 is compatible with any of the Xbox consoles. There's no way that Logitech would be willing to pay licensing money to Microsoft so that a small number of customers could use their 14 year-old joysticks on an Xbox.
