Very cool video! I too need a sawbuck to cut wood for a stove and use 16” cuts. What is the distance of the carriage bolt holes from the top end of the braces and how long are the braces? I think a three brace sawbuck would be fine for me, but better too large than too small? Thanks 😜

I found another post online with dimensions and "parts list", but would be nice to have here. What I'm thinking is 6n 8' 2"x4"; cut in half to 4'; 4n 5" 5/8 bolts, 8n 5/8 washers, 4n-8n 5/8 nuts (double nuts to prevent loosening apparently), 16n 3.5" deck screws. (using n after numbers for count to prevent confusion from too many numbers) 4n of the 8's become legs. 1n becoming the angle stop 1n becoming the bottom frame brace 4' long, and ending up being 3.6' tall when unfolded. For 60 degree feet with the ground, put the carriage bolts at 18" down. This will make the saw horse shorter at 3.46' unfolded.

Yes, you can make this sawbuck with 6x 2x4x8's. Instead of double nuts, just use a nut with nylon insert. Good luck with yours--I find mine useful.

Thanks for idea! What angle do you cut the 2 sets of outside legs 45 degrees?

Thanks. If you stop the video at 1 min and 22 sec, the angle of the legs is shown at the bottom (better to see how the angle is defined). Inside angle is 65 degrees.

Great looking sawbuck! Congratulations. What are the angles of the bevel on the braces & teh corresponding angle of cut to make the legs flat to the ground please?

Thank you! If you look at the bottom of the screen at 1:20 in the video, the angle between the leg and ground is shown as 65 degrees (but you only get a glimpse)!
