WOW! What a Magnificent Specimen of an Instrument. Both Gorgeous and a Piece of Fine Art. Your choice of Pick-Ups and Electronics is Excellent as well. Finally being a Fretless is Very Special. During lockdown, I built a neck-through fretless. I too used a Schaller 3D bridge (and tuners), and I too used Fishman Fluence pickups but only trebble and bass EQ due to costs. I think yours looks a bit better than mine though tbh.

When you use a long end mill like at 3:30 do you get any noticeable amount of deflection from the end mill or the robot?
@lignumchannel3 жыл бұрын
It depends mostly on milling speed, it gets noticable at speeds of 100mm per second and more. The whole arm gets a little bit bent because it is not as rigid as clasic portal cnc. Happens with any length but more with longer bits.. slow is the way to go😁

it's positioned where it would be if it were on a musical staff, is the thought behind it i think
